What is Pirates! Showdown: Enhanced Edition?
A real-time strategy game built around pirate ship battles and defensive positioning.
Ships launch from bases, capture towns and other structures, and attack the enemy base while protecting their own. Capturable sites provide different benefits, including gold, stronger attacks, improved defenses, and additional launch capacity. Towns and guard towers can be upgraded. The campaign contains 75 levels across four worlds, while two skirmish modes generate random maps. Adjustable AI difficulty supports different challenge levels, and time can be sped up or slowed down during play. The game avoids heavy resource management and unit micromanagement. Campaign and skirmish modes are functioning in Early Access; remastered PC graphics may vary between levels.
