StrategyIs Pingo's Revenge worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Puzzle players who enjoy planning block movements before committing to a level
- Casual strategy players who want short, objective-based stages with enemy encounters
- Players who prefer a rescue story tied to map-based progression
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking open-ended exploration may hit a wall in the fixed, level-by-level structure.
- Players who want combat as the main system may bounce off the requirement to solve the three-diamond objective or manipulate ice blocks.
- Players looking for multiplayer play may not find a suitable format here.
Our take on Pingo's Revenge
The likely bounce point is the diamond objective: when a player fails to bring all three together, the level shifts to an all-enemies elimination route. That fallback still requires reaching the next stage, so players who dislike repeated positional planning may stall there.
What is Pingo's Revenge?
Pingo's Revenge is a level-based puzzle game set in hazardous ice areas.
Each stage requires logical movement of ice blocks to bring three diamonds together, which completes the level immediately. Ice blocks can also be destroyed to create a route through the area and deal with enemies. If the diamond objective is missed, the remaining option is to defeat every opponent and reach the next stage. A map tracks progress toward the missing girlfriend, while red buoys can grant extra lives. The game combines block manipulation, enemy encounters, level progression, and a rescue story involving the antagonist Zonk.
