Our take on Pineview Drive
The fear-monitoring system makes psychological tension central, but it also limits the freedom to explore without consequences. The 30-day structure gives the investigation a defined pace, while the mansion setting keeps the experience focused on atmosphere and discovery.
What is Pineview Drive?
Pineview Drive is a horror adventure set in an abandoned seaside mansion where a man returns to investigate his wife Linda’s unexplained disappearance.
The game divides the investigation into 30 in-game days, with each day revealing more of the house’s secrets. Player movement and reactions are monitored, and rising fear can reduce health. The mansion can also be explored in daylight through the Open House mode. Scarecrow - The Eight Letters adds a separate objective involving eight letters placed around the house and garden, with a scarecrow to avoid. Sound effects and an atmospheric presentation support the mansion exploration and mystery-solving structure.
