Our take on Periodic Deliveries
The defining structure is an automated delivery network constrained by non-crossing routes and a limited fleet, turning planet upgrades into an ongoing logistics puzzle.
What is Periodic Deliveries?
Run an interplanetary freight business by sending planetary output to worlds seeking those goods.
Create connections, configure buying and selling rules, allocate vessels, and allow automated shipments to earn money without upkeep. Reach additional star systems, purchase vessels, and develop research that opens vessel variants, business skills, and more advanced planetary stages. Improving a world raises its output while adding new requirements; all of those needs must be satisfied before the next upgrade.
Trade paths may not intersect, and the fleet has a fixed vessel capacity, turning multi-stop distribution into a routing puzzle. Research levels are crafted using other commodities, then spent to earn progress in the technology tree. The game contains 45 commodities, 5 research levels, 7 vessel categories, and an unbounded progression.
How Periodic Deliveries plays
- 01Automated Trade Routes
- Assigned ships repeatedly move goods along configured routes while generating funds for further expansion.
- 02Planet Upgrades
- Higher-tier planets work faster, produce new goods, and add demands that must all be satisfied before upgrading.
- 03Route Constraints
- Trade routes cannot cross, and the company can operate only a limited number of ships.
- 04Technology Manufacturing
- Technology tiers are produced from other goods and spent on research-tree options.
- 05Seven Ship Classes
- Research provides access to 7 ship classes for expanding the transportation network.
