Our take on Pato Box
The boxing-and-boss structure gives the game a focused rhythm, but limits the range of combat situations. Exploration, dialogue, documents, traps, and mini-games add variety between fights without changing the central emphasis on stylized boxing.
What is Pato Box?
Pato Box is a single-player boxing adventure about a duck pursuing retribution against an evil corporation.
Story Mode combines exploration of 3D areas with conversations, traps, mini-games, and documents that reveal information about the organization and its characters. Boxing battles take place in 2D and focus on reflexes during encounters with bosses. Arcade Mode allows bosses to be fought individually or in sequence, with a special opponent at the end. The game uses a visual style inspired by graphic novels and comics, includes a soundtrack by Controvol, and presents a surreal world filled with ducks.
