Our take on Pathologic Classic HD
Players who need objectives to wait for them may bounce off the advancing 12-day schedule. The breaking point comes when missed events, limited medicine, hunger, and immunity management combine with choices that offer no clean moral resolution.
What is Pathologic Classic HD?
Pathologic Classic HD is a first-person horror adventure in a remote settlement facing a deadly, unexplained plague.
Players take the role of one of three outsiders, with separate but connected storylines, quests, conversations, events, and subplots. The town is open to exploration from the start, and its events unfold even when the chosen character is elsewhere. Survival means tracking hunger and immunity, rationing medicine, and deciding whether to talk, trade, rob, or steal for supplies.
Characters and factions embody conflicting beliefs, leaving no simple villains or easy answers. The story spans 12 days, with over 70 hours of play in real time and no need to repeat quests to extend it. This edition restores text, adds voice acting, refreshes textures and visual effects, supports higher resolutions, and includes English, Polish, and Italian translations.
