What is Path of the Midnight Sun?
Path of the Midnight Sun is a story-focused JRPG adventure about Lady Faratras Hoikade, a Vassal carrying the sealed soul of the Demon King.
Play as one of three protagonists, explore locations through point-and-click movement, and plan routes and time on Tactical Maps. Battles use turn-based combat, with allies’ mental states affected by choices and reflected in their performance. Relationships can shape character personalities and open additional combat and romance options. Character management includes Skill Trees, hunger, affection, and mental state. Story Mode offers a lower-pressure way to play, while Hardcore Mode tests player skills. The game includes 25 hours of content, voice performances for more than 50 characters, and over 3 hours of orchestrated music.
