The game’s dual protection objective adds tension to trap placement: defenses must stop human attackers without harming demon guests. That constraint narrows where traps can be used and makes route design part of the defense rather than a purely offensive exercise.
What is Party Demon?
Party Demon combines tower defense with deck building.
Players act as the Black Architect, spending a budget to expand a castle, shape routes through its rooms, and place demonic traps against waves of human invaders. Rooms can provide passive effects, while each run creates a card collection for building situation-specific decks. Trap cards come in three types, with one card of each type allowed in a room at a time, so combinations and synergies determine the defenses. Demons travel along the same route as the attackers and must reach the party unharmed, while Lady Veridiana must also be protected. Damaging party guests threatens her reaction, adding a protection constraint alongside the fight against the humans.
