Our take on Paradiddle
The store pitch leads with a broad virtual drum kit, but the product also depends on structured rhythm-game content: 10 lessons and 30 built-in songs. That makes it less of an open-ended drumming environment than the kit-customization emphasis initially suggests.
What is Paradiddle?
Paradiddle is a virtual-reality drumming simulator with 10 beginner lessons, a rhythm mode covering 30 songs with adjustable difficulty, and multiplayer freeplay or score competitions.
Players can arrange custom kits from more than 50 percussion instruments, save setups, load songs, audio files, or sheet music, and record and share performances. The simulator supports custom songs, cross-platform leaderboards, four environments, MIDI input and output, USB peripherals for kick and hi-hat controls, and ASIO audio output. Individual drum settings include pitch and maximum volume. Instruments produce different sounds based on hit location and force.
