Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking quick, low-commitment combat may hit a wall with role coordination, limited skill selections, and environmental preparation.
- Players wanting a simple progression system may bounce off the combination of classes, mastery, factions, equipment, and changing encounters.
- Players looking for a solo-focused RPG may not fit a game centered on parties, guilds, and social play.
- Players seeking a battle royale or hide-and-seek format will find a different gameplay structure.
Our take on Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen
The bounce point arrives when exploration and combat require preparation instead of a broad ability bar. Climates, Fractures, enemy behavior, party roles, and limited equipped skills all add decisions before and during encounters.
What is Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen?
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is a high-fantasy MMORPG set in Terminus, a world shaped by conflict between gods, nations, and dragons.
Players travel across three continents, climb surfaces, investigate clues, and use special abilities such as teleportation, raft creation, and bridge construction. Six climates and supernatural Fractures add environmental challenges, while the day-night cycle reveals different discoveries. Character creation includes 9 races and 14 classes. The Mastery System develops skills and attributes, and player deeds influence faction relationships. Combat uses four roles: Tank, Healer, Damage, and Support. Players select a limited set of abilities, respond to enemies that adapt to circumstances, collect specialized equipment, and form parties or guilds. The Early Access release includes wipes.
