Our take on Palallel
The page gives a precise level count but little sense of how long a typical puzzle takes or how difficulty changes across the 144 stages. Its emphasis is on communication and coordination, while character customization appears as an additional activity.
What is Palallel?
Palallel is a two-player puzzle platformer where each player sees a different board and cannot see or interact with their partner.
Players exchange objects across the boards and activate buttons, switches, pressure plates, and other mechanisms that can affect both sides to reach their exits. Puzzles use physics, including throwing balls and keys, placing crates as platforms, and manipulating gravity. The game has 144 individual levels: 8 trial levels, 8 logic rooms, and 32 bonus challenges, set across 10 themed environments. Trial levels use layouts that extend beyond a single screen. Players can also customize characters by switching parts, use a randomize option, and unlock 36 achievements.
