Our take on P·O·L·L·E·N
The bounce point comes when progress depends on examining Station M’s ordinary objects. Players who move through the base without testing what can be handled may miss puzzle clues, while those unwilling to revisit locations may not uncover additional story layers.
What is P·O·L·L·E·N?
P·O·L·L·E·N is a first-person science-fiction exploration game set on Station M, a research base on Saturn’s moon Titan.
As a reserve RAMA Industries employee, the player enters the station after a researcher disappears and a lunar storm approaches. Exploration involves examining and handling objects throughout the base, since ordinary items may provide clues or help solve puzzles. The game presents an alternate history in which the space race continued and corporations established colonies across the Solar System. Its story follows the investigation into Station M and the mysteries beneath Titan’s crust. It can be played on a standard monitor or with a virtual reality headset, and revisiting the station may reveal additional story layers.
