Our take on Out of Reach
Rather than keeping survival on land, the game makes the surrounding archipelago part of the contest. Boats, wrecks, pirate merchants, naval weapons, and clan-held territories extend the usual gathering-and-building loop into sea travel and territorial warfare.
What is Out of Reach?
Out of Reach is a multiplayer survival game set across an archipelago inhabited by animals, pirates, and other castaways.
Players gather wood, stone, flax, food, copper, and tin, then use workshops, furnaces, and tools to make armor and weapons. Construction includes walls, stairs, floors, and other elements for creating a stronghold or claiming territory. Boats support travel between islands and can carry cannons and ballistae, while gliders, trebuchets, traps, and siege equipment support attacks and defense. Clans can compete for control of up to 12 territories by placing flags, gathering influence, attacking rival properties, and protecting borders. The game also includes shipwreck events, pirate merchants, treasure chests, character customization, passive skills, and equipment trading.
How Out of Reach plays

- 02Stronghold Construction

- 03Clan Territory Control
- Clans can contest as many as 12 territories by raising flags, accumulating influence, attacking properties, and defending borders.
- 04Siege Equipment
- Ballistae, trebuchets, traps, and gliders provide different ways to attack or protect fortified areas.
- 05Skill Progression
- Activities grant points divided across 8 groups that can be assigned to 24 passive skills.
- 06Shipwreck Events
- Storm-related wrecks can appear with chests across 3 levels and randomly selected loot.
Out of Reach compared to similar games
Out of Reach combines survival gathering, stronghold construction, sea travel, and clan territory control across an archipelago. Feel The Snow is described as a sandbox action-adventure with a storyline, characters, puzzles, bosses, quests, crafting, and building, but its description does not present the same clan-based territorial structure or naval warfare.
