Our take on Orange Roulette
The defining mechanic is a six-chamber Banana Gun containing one randomly placed explosive seed pod, turning the orange's predicament into a lethal chamber-selection scenario.
What is Orange Roulette?
Orange Roulette casts the player as an orange held in a prison and forced into a deadly game.
Its central hazard is the Banana Gun, which has six chambers and develops one explosive seed pod in a random chamber. Once fully developed under sunlight, the gun cycles through its cylinder until it reaches the pod, releasing seeds and banana fruit at high speed. The player can also activate the gun manually, with the game warning about a possible backfire unless the muzzle end is slightly peeled back. Banana Guns grow on trees, and the surrounding premise connects the contest to the production of orange juice.
How Orange Roulette plays
- 01Six-Chamber Hazard
- The Banana Gun contains six chambers, while one randomly selected chamber develops the explosive seed pod.
- 02Automatic Firing Cycle
- After ripening in bright sunlight, the gun rotates its cylinder until it reaches the chamber holding the pod.
- 03Manual Activation
- The Banana Gun can also be triggered directly, with a stated risk of backfire if the muzzle is not slightly peeled back.
