Our take on OmniFootman
The run-based structure gives up persistent access to most abilities after death. This supports changing challenges and new combinations, but it also means combat options must be rebuilt during later attempts rather than carried forward intact.
What is OmniFootman?
OmniFootman is a rogue-lite action game set in a cursed kingdom that changes between attempts.
Its combat focuses on dodging, blocking, parrying, and landing attacks with precise timing. More than 40 weapons, shields, and spells provide varied combat abilities and special moves. Power crystals grant direct character enhancements and may activate stronger combination effects. Death is permanent, and most abilities from the previous adventure are lost when a run ends. Each new attempt presents a different world layout, set of encounters, and collection of treasures. The game’s structure combines repeated challenges with changing equipment and power combinations, requiring new decisions as each adventure unfolds.
