What is Odyssey - The Story of Science?
Odyssey is a science-focused adventure set across remote Caribbean islands, where players search for Kai and her family while following clues hidden in fragments of her journal.
Puzzles are arranged in historical order and draw on astronomy, mechanics, and scientific reasoning. The first release includes Chapters 1–3: early ideas about Earth and physics, the transition from Ptolemy’s geocentric model to the heliocentric views of Copernicus and Galileo, and Galileo’s dispute with Aristotelian ideas about falling bodies. Reading is a major part of play, with the journal presenting historical science, conversations, observations, and experiments. The game is intended for ages 11 and above, including middle-school and high-school students and adults interested in science.
