What is Novus Inceptio?
Novus Inceptio is an Early Access survival RPG set on Earth in the distant future.
Survival needs, injury, disease, and danger form the setting, while crafting, building, farming, exploration, and mystery shape the game. Resources pass characteristics into crafted items, with material choices affecting their properties. Modular construction supports planned homes and farms, and mining stations operate while the player is away. Character attributes develop through repeated activities instead of a chosen race or profession.
Characters gain age points from ages 18 to 75, may die of age, and can advance through generations. Anomalies contain dangers, rewards, and crafting recipes. The world includes forests, deserts, jungles, underwater life, weather changes, daily cycles, and interactive natural objects. A personal robot named A2-A accompanies the character.
