Our take on Nothing To Remember
The desktop chat presentation concentrates the experience on messages, thoughts, and choices, but leaves less room for varied gameplay systems. Players seeking physical investigation, combat, or broader exploration may find the format restrictive.
What is Nothing To Remember?
A murder mystery unfolds in real time through a messenger-style window on the desktop.
After a killer believed to be dead is linked to another disappearance, players follow two characters whose lives are connected without their knowledge. The game provides access to their personal messages, private thoughts, and important decisions. Choices made during the investigation shape the story and can lead to one of four endings. Players also keep notes while following a case involving concealed secrets, murder, and the characters’ struggle to cope with a chaotic situation. The entire narrative is presented through the desktop chat format, with the investigation progressing as the story unfolds.
How Nothing To Remember plays
- 01Four story endings
- Decisions during the investigation determine which of four conclusions the story reaches.
- 02Two character perspectives
- Players follow the private messages and thoughts of two people who do not know how their lives are connected.
- 03Desktop chat format
- The narrative takes place in a messenger-style window that remains on the desktop.
