What is Northern Lights?
Northern Lights is an open-world survival simulation set on an Arctic island.
Starting without food or equipment, players gather supplies, fish, hunt wildlife, search abandoned locations, craft items, and start fires. Survival requires balancing hunger, hydration, body temperature, and energy, with these conditions affecting sanity. Predators, illnesses, and the harsh environment create additional threats. Survival Mode focuses on staying alive, while the main objective involves finding a way off the island. Four difficulty scenarios support different approaches, from peaceful exploration to a hardcore challenge. Wildlife includes bears, wolves, reindeer, moose, foxes, boars, and hares.
