Our take on NOCLIP
Its defining detail is the early-2000s camcorder presentation, which frames the Backrooms exploration as unsettling recorded footage rather than a conventional modern game world.
What is NOCLIP?
NOCLIP is a chapter-based liminal exploration game set in the Backrooms.
The first story, “Rescue,” follows Dr. Oscar Andersen, a scientist with the state-funded Icarus Research organization, as he investigates what happened to a missing group of four on March 27, 2002. Exploration moves through unsettling locations including an abandoned office and a large mall. The presentation uses visuals modeled on early-2000s camcorders, creating a recorded-footage aesthetic for the journey through unknown spaces. The game is heavily inspired by KANE PIXELS. Additional chapters are planned as free updates.
