NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound is a side-scrolling action adventure set in a reimagined version of the series’ universe.
Kenji Mozu, a young ninja trained by Ryu Hayabusa, faces an invasion after the barrier between human and demon worlds breaks. Kumori, an assassin from the Black Spider Clan, joins him as the two characters pursue connected stories. Players control both ninjas and use Ninja Fusion to combine their abilities against enemies. The game draws on the series’ 8-bit era while adding elements associated with its modern 3D entries. Its structure combines pick-up-and-play platforming with combat mechanics that require practice to master, presented through modern pixel-art visuals.
