What is Nine Noir Lives?
Nine Noir Lives is a comedy-noir point-and-click adventure set in Meow Meow Furrington, a city of cats facing tension between two crime families.
Players investigate a murder as Cuddles Nutterbutter, a feline private investigator, alongside his assistant, Tabby Marshmallow. The investigation spans over 80 hand-drawn screens and more than 25 characters. Progress combines dialogue, environmental interaction, puzzle solving, and Cuddles's unusual licking ability. Switching between Cuddles and Tabby provides two perspectives on the city and its mystery. The game includes more than 100,000 words of fully voiced dialogue, with serious subjects presented within a predominantly comic tone.
