What is NIMRODS?
NIMRODS is a survival roguelite shooter about cloned operatives testing experimental weapons on alien planets.
Runs involve exploring varied biomes, collecting weapon components from drops, and combining them into unusual guns while facing enemy groups and bosses. Weapons created in earlier attempts can be deployed through drones during later runs. Progression includes DNA changes for future clones, adjustments to drone behavior, and control over upgrade drops. Missions provide objectives alongside scavenging and combat. The character may be expendable, but crafted weapons persist as support for subsequent attempts, giving the game a progression structure built around repeated expeditions and evolving equipment.
