Our take on Night Vigil
The six-hero team and mission-based structure focus the game on squad tactics, but that format leaves less room for individual-character play or a broad, continuously unfolding exploration experience.
What is Night Vigil?
Night Vigil is a tactical, turn-based role-playing game set in Chicago after a biological attack transforms much of the population into monsters.
Players assemble a team of six superheroes, known as Extraordinaries, and direct them through more than 30 replayable missions. Combat and progression draw on a roster of dozens of superpowers and items, allowing the team to face the city’s monster threat with different combinations of abilities and equipment.
