What is Night Cascades?
An interactive mystery visual novel set in an alternate 1980s, where occult beliefs are part of the era’s public anxieties.
Diane Carter, a folklore graduate recruited by the local police as a specialist in esoteric religion, investigates a series of suspicious fires alongside Jackie, a woman from her past. Players search crime scenes for clues through minigames and question suspects for information. The story can be played from both Diane’s and Jackie’s perspectives, revealing different details about past events and the investigation. Their relationship may also develop into a romance between two adult women. Minigames can be controlled with a mouse, keyboard, or controller.
