Our take on Next Hero
Rather than keeping the action inside dungeon runs, the game connects roguelike shooting with village reconstruction, town facilities, and a branching conclusion structure. Its central progression therefore alternates between combat expeditions and rebuilding the settlement.
What is Next Hero?
Next Hero combines dungeon exploration, shooting, and role-playing with a roguelike structure.
Players enter randomly generated areas, search for concealed locations, collect weapons and equipment, and fight monsters and bosses. The game includes five dungeon settings: forest, sea, snow, castle, and lava. More than 20 playable characters, 220 equipment pieces and items, 30 bosses, and 50 monster types support varied combat encounters. A dragon has kidnapped Sofia and destroyed the village, giving the story its central objective. In town, players can use facilities including a blacksmith, tavern, and monastery. Gold can be invested in rebuilding the settlement and supporting its residents. The game includes three endings and a separate true ending.
