Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a focused combat game without settlement duties, crafting, or peasant management

- Players who want a linear adventure instead of an open world shaped by management choices and random events
Our take on Nested Lands
The settlement-management layer adds breadth but also divides attention between exploration, combat, resource work, construction, and survivor care. Players seeking a tightly focused RPG may find the village’s ongoing needs compete with the journey and battles.
What is Nested Lands?
Nested Lands is a medieval survival RPG centered on building and managing a settlement in a plague-ravaged open world.
Players assign peasants to gather resources, craft items, construct defenses, and perform other roles while developing the community. The game includes dozens of upgradeable buildings and hundreds of craftable and customizable items, including farms and animals. Survivors can be found and recruited during journeys across the world, but they require protection from hostile forces, disease, harsh weather, and winter. Combat, random events, and encounters with bandits and other threats shape the settlement’s prospects. Play is available alone or in online co-op, with decisions affecting whether the village prospers or dies.
