Our take on NAMAKORIUM (ナマコリウム)
The focus on cooperative cleanup gives the game a distinctive structure, but it also ties much of its tension to food management, pollution removal, and role assignment. Players seeking broader military campaigns or competitive strategy may find that narrower emphasis restrictive.
What is NAMAKORIUM (ナマコリウム)?
NAMAKORIUM is a cooperative real-time strategy game about restoring polluted oceans with sea cucumbers called Namakos.
Players assign roles, gather resources, construct buildings, clear paths, and purify pollution before food supplies run out. Namakos have different traits: Shell Namakos gather limestone, Iron Namakos are suited to mining, and Flame and Ice Namakos can survive extreme temperatures. Blight Namakos may appear during cleanup, spoil food, and drag the ocean back into darkness; the Namako Fusion Cannon can repel them.
The game includes online multiplayer for up to four players and a solo mode with relaxed or efficiency-focused play. There are 16 stages, more than 50 scenic creatures to discover, and stage titles based on clear time. Cleanup restores coral, sunlight, and ocean color.
