Our take on My life as an archeologist
The likely sticking point is the run loop: players who want a fixed campaign may lose interest as progress depends on repeated attempts, with death ending each run. Build-focused players may also stall when asked to choose among class roles, equipment, stats, and a three-option artefact after each boss.
What is My life as an archeologist?
This clicker roguelite sends an archaeologist through repeated treasure-hunting runs, with 100 levels to click through.
Monsters drop equipment, and each boss defeated lets the player choose one artefact from three options. The game offers three classes: a zoologist focused on poison and survival, an ethnologist who uses ancient machinery and manages energy, and a theologist who summons spirits. More than 60 equipment types and more than 60 animated monsters provide ways to shape a character’s stats and abilities. Kills also advance monster research between runs; coins can be spent to acquire some monster powers. A run can include up to 10 bosses, and death ends the current attempt while research progress continues.
