Our take on My Eyes
The absurd premise and casual framing may make the game sound lightweight, but its central loop adds pressure through pain from firing and heat from waiting. The store page does identify this tension, so the main gap is how strongly the playful presentation contrasts with the demanding movement constraints.
What is My Eyes?
My Eyes is a physics-based climbing game in which a severed head uses laser vision to move through cave systems and return to its body.
Mouse controls aim the lasers, which can propel the head into flight. Firing causes pain, while keeping the eyes closed allows heat to build inside the head. The game presents six maps filled with hazards and requires balancing movement against these two pressures. Inner commentary contrasts with screams of pain as the head progresses upward. Its structure combines point-and-click aiming, physics-based traversal, and consequences for both shooting and waiting.
How My Eyes plays
- 01Laser Propulsion
- Aiming and firing with the mouse lets the detached head fly through the cave environments.
- 02Pain And Heat
- Laser use causes pain, while closed eyes make heat accumulate inside the head.
- 03Six Cave Maps
- The ascent to the waiting body takes place across six hazardous maps.
- 04Inner Commentary
- The head's reflective thoughts are contrasted with vocal reactions to pain.
