What is MUTATION PHASE?
MUTATION PHASE is a first-person horror shooter about the consequences of sound-wave experiments.
A DNA change affects research-complex personnel and nearby residents, turning them into aggressive mutants that occupy the surrounding area. The player controls an engineer who has kept his sanity and temporarily restrained his own transformation. Story mode presents the plot and introduces the basic mechanics while the engineer attempts to manage the disease and escape the danger zone. Completing this mode unlocks survival mode. In survival, the player fights successive mutant groups in several locations. The game therefore combines a narrative opening with a later mode focused on repeated combat against incoming enemies.
