Our take on Murtop
The defining structure is a run of 256 timed, single-screen stages, with a bonus stage recurring every 5 stages and a kill screen at the end.
What is Murtop?
Murtop is an arcade action game in which Murti uses bombs against carrot-hungry moles invading the world.
Play across 256 time-limited, single-screen stages, with a kill screen beyond the regular stages. A bonus stage appears every 5 stages, and the game also includes a secret bonus stage. The presentation uses a vertical screen, a 16-color palette, pixel-perfect scaling, and a CRT filter. Five chiptune tracks accompany play. High scores can be recorded on local and online leaderboards. An attract mode evokes arcade cabinets, and TATE mode rotates the screen for play in that orientation. The game is also optimized for arcade cabinet machines.
