AdventureIs Move That Box worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Sokoban fans who want reflex-based action alongside box puzzles
- Players who enjoy short objective-driven arcade campaigns with unusual object interactions
- Completionists interested in time, step, and collectible-based goals
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a purely relaxed puzzle experience may hit a wall when reflex timing and explosive object interactions become necessary.
- Players looking for open-ended exploration or deep character progression may find the level-based box-solving structure too narrow.
- Players who want a realistic or modern visual style may not connect with the retro pixel-art presentation.
Our take on Move That Box
The likely bounce point is the shift from deliberate box placement to reflex-sensitive problem solving. Players who can plan Sokoban moves but dislike timed reactions or bomb-based changes to the board may stop when puzzles require both forms of play at once.
What is Move That Box?
Move That Box combines Sokoban-like box puzzles with arcade reflex challenges in a top-down setting.
The objective is to travel between locations by shifting objects and solving environmental problems. Boxes can be pushed, thrown, or affected by explosions, while bombs destroy everything within one square. Different box types include wooden objects that can be moved through and metal objects that respond to blasts. Story Mode follows a search for a captured loved one inside an alien mothership. Each world uses its own gameplay approach. After completing the story, time and step challenges provide alternate goals. Collectibles can unlock additional hero skins, and the presentation uses retro visuals with modern pixel-art elements.
