Our take on Exp10sion
The cozy retro presentation may suggest a relaxed puzzle game, but the central structure is built around a bomb that resets every 10 seconds. The main experience is repeated route planning with traces from earlier attempts, rather than open-ended platforming or exploration.
What is Exp10sion?
Exp10sion is a pixel-art puzzle platformer built around repeated 10-second rounds.
The player controls a bomb and must reach the Target Door before it detonates. Each explosion brings the bomb back, begins another round, and leaves behind a Time Shadow that represents the previous attempt. These traces become part of the puzzle-solving process, alongside mechanisms such as magnets, lasers, and devices that can pause the timer. The game includes more than 70 levels with retro-styled visuals and a cozy atmosphere. Its structure comes from repeating explosions, studying earlier routes, and using accumulated shadows to pass obstacles before the next detonation.
