Our take on Mount Hill
The game departs from straightforward action by making stealth, tactical movement, and flight viable responses to danger. Its enemies have physical strength but limited intelligence, shifting encounters away from battles based mainly on enemy strategy.
What is Mount Hill?
A nuclear test-site accident releases a radioactive cloud over the suburbs, leaving Mount Hill residents trapped in an infection zone and placed under quarantine.
Radiation poisoning produces mutated, violence-prone offspring, while the government sends the military to destroy the area and conceal the disaster. Survivors escape to the hills, where they seek revenge on anyone they encounter. After falling into their trap, the player must complete every level and survive through tactical decisions. Each location presents its own gameplay. Mutants behave in unexpected ways and possess great physical strength but little intelligence. Players can study their behavior, move stealthily and tactfully, or run when needed. Specially designed in-game audio is essential for beating the levels.
