What is Mother Machine?
Mother Machine is a cooperative platforming game for up to four online players, with two-player local split-screen.
Players control gremlins that climb walls and ceilings, jump through physics-based environments and complete missions for a mechanical Mother. The alien cave network changes between runs and contains distinctive flora and fauna that can be used to affect exploration. Missions unlock mutations that change movement, attacks and defensive options, including rolling, health stealing, projectiles and protective effects. Players can combine their abilities to approach obstacles in different ways, then customize their gremlin with patterns, colours, ears and other visual options. The Creators' Ruins DLC adds 10 mutations, an Elektro Chomper boss, hostile Rogue Drones and groups of Mini Hoppers.
