Our take on Mohism: Battle of Words
The focus on reasoning and rhetoric trades away martial-arts action. Progress depends on examining evidence, finding contradictions, and reconstructing events rather than fighting opponents directly.
What is Mohism: Battle of Words?
Investigate four connected cases as Zhang Xiaochen, a young Rift Watcher who does not use martial arts.
Examine crime scenes, reason through evidence, identify contradictions in opponents’ arguments, and arrange events to reconstruct each crime. The cases include a locked-room murder at Tang Keep, a threat to the Rift Watchers, violence at a remote shrine, and a death inside Secret Service headquarters. Key dialogue passages include voice acting and clues may appear through changes in tone. Xiaochen’s investigations lead into a larger conspiracy, with encounters involving Criminal Affairs, the Secret Service, and other characters. The game combines a wuxia setting with detective work and rhetoric-based confrontations.
