Our take on Miner's Mettle
The bounce point arrives when artillery fire becomes a calculation exercise: distance, windspeed, and trajectory all affect shots across very large battlefields. Players looking for immediate, close-range combat may lose interest before the fleet customization and faction strategy have room to matter.
What is Miner's Mettle?
Miner’s Mettle combines artillery shooting with real-time strategy across a mining planet contested by four factions.
Players command fleets of artillery trains, fire on distant enemy trains, and use economic or technological advantages to gain control. Research unlocks technology that can be installed on trains, allowing different vehicles to serve distinct roles within a tactical plan. The story campaign follows retired artillery captain Roland Derecho through 22 missions and includes every faction.
