Our take on MINE MEMORY
Rather than presenting a visual novel as one fixed reading experience, Mine Memory makes Hana’s values part of the structure. Choices lead to four endings, while the uncertain line between memory, delusion, and reality replaces a straightforward account of her past.
What is MINE MEMORY?
Mine Memory follows Hana as she confronts the past she left behind after moving from a rural hometown to the city.
The story moves between urban life, memories of her hometown, and a surreal exploration of her psyche. Choices shape Hana’s priorities and determine how her troubles resolve, with four different endings offering distinct perspectives on her journey. Each playthrough lasts approximately 30 minutes to one hour. Hand-drawn imagery, grunge textures, bleach fades, and an atmospheric soundtrack frame themes of nostalgia, resentment, independence, self-identity, and repressed memories. The narrative questions whether Hana’s experiences reflect reality or delusion.
