Our take on Minabo - A walk through life
The focus on individual lives and social ties leaves little room for large-scale management or combat systems. Restarting supports trying different choices, but the experience centers on revisiting personal relationships rather than progressing through one fixed story.
What is Minabo - A walk through life?
Guide a turnip from sprouting onward, with each step moving time forward.
Interactions with other turnips shape personality strengths and weaknesses, which affect later relationships. Build and care for a social circle, leave unwanted relationships, adopt radish pets, start a family, or live a short life. Collectible hats produce effects involving attraction, animosity, elegance, or life expectancy. The game includes 25 quests with dozens of goals, as well as a free-life mode where characters and lives are randomly generated. Each life ends with a summary that can be shared. A life can also be restarted to change past choices and see what follows.
