SimulationIs Meticulous worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- People seeking a self-directed way to organize diet and fitness goals without focusing on macronutrient tracking.
- Players who want to apply weekly planning and progress review to mindfulness, creative practice, or language learning.
- People starting to think about personal health who want a guided, gamified planning experience rather than medical care.
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- People looking for a conventional action- or story-driven game may find its focus on personal planning and tracking a different kind of play.
- Those who want a fixed sequence of challenges may not enjoy setting their own measures and adjusting plans week by week.
- People seeking diagnosis or treatment should look to a doctor or dietician; the game is not a substitute for either.
Our take on Meticulous
Rather than centering its structure on a fictional campaign or a sequence of set challenges, Meticulous applies game framing to personal goal-setting. Players define what progress means, record weekly data, and revise their own plans across health or other pursuits.
What is Meticulous?
Meticulous is a gamified personal health companion for planning and tracking diet and fitness goals.
Set personal measures of success, build a program one week at a time, and record diet and fitness data to review progress and adjust the plan. Its guide, Metic, offers meal suggestions, health strategies, and encouragement. Plans can focus on individual priorities and schedules, from simple food habits to mindfulness and self-care. The same scheduling approach can also be used for goals such as developing an artistic skill or learning a language. The game is not a substitute for medical or dietetic care.
