Our take on Boxing Coach
The bounce point arrives when exercise must follow the music: users who want to set their own pace may hit the rhythm-matching and post-workout scoring system as the main barrier.
What is Boxing Coach?
Boxing Coach is a VR aerobic boxing fitness game built around 23 boxing moves and 54 action combinations.
It provides demonstrations and spoken instruction from coaches whose movements were captured from professional trainers. Training plans can be generated around weight loss, physical strength, or health maintenance, with selected duration and intensity. The plan increases difficulty and intensity over time. Separate sessions target areas such as the upper arms, chest, waist, hips, calves, or the whole body. Music-based workouts require actions to follow the rhythm, followed by score calculation. Charts display exercise data including predicted daily calories, repetitions, body age, weight, and BMI. A later mobile app is planned to synchronize movement data recorded outside the game.
