Players may bounce off hard mode when faster enemies, increased damage, and additional attack types change familiar encounters. The upgrade system may also create a stopping point when a desired power requires more than Soulrium to unlock.
What is Metaloid : Origin?
Metaloid: Origin is a fast-paced 2D gun-and-run platformer with three playable android warriors.
Erika uses bullet barrages, Zeta attacks with atomic thunder, and Neva crosses stages with a jetpack. The game includes 9 levels with distinct settings and mechanics, such as a waterfall cave, a desert scooter interception, a volcano mine cart ride, and a snowfield battle against a giant walker. Soulrium gems collected from levels and enemies can be spent on weapons and powers through the pause menu, while some upgrades require more than Soulrium.
Two difficulty settings change enemy behavior. On hard mode, enemies can move faster, deal more damage, or gain new attack types. The soundtrack was composed by Kamil Sudrajat, who also composed the soundtrack for Metagal.
