Our take on Marry a Deep One: Innsmouth Simulator
The focus on emotional manipulation, cult recruitment, and household curses narrows the experience toward a dark social-management premise. That focus leaves less room for conventional adventure structures centered on heroic combat or exploration.
What is Marry a Deep One: Innsmouth Simulator?
Play as a sociopathic cult leader managing an isolated seaside village where aquatic monsters crossbreed with humans.
Influence villagers through compliments, flirting, insults, threats, preaching, and persuasion, changing emotions such as love, lust, trust, fear, envy, and anger. Use these relationships to persuade villagers to marry Deep Ones, raise their faith, and recruit them into a cult. Study documents to learn sigils, then combine them into spells or cast them individually as household curses. A grimoire shows villagers’ feelings, relationships, actions, and motivations while revealing possible interaction outcomes. The village can be constructed, expanded, and modified. Names for the player character, cat, grimoire, cult, village, spells, and children can also be customized.
