Our take on March of Tulpas:Xanadu
Rather than treating a reset as a full loss of progress, the game makes the three-day cycle part of its progression structure. Levels disappear, but skills, equipment, and attribute increases remain, while healing becomes a combat tactic based on biting weakened enemies.
What is March of Tulpas:Xanadu?
March of Tulpas:Xanadu is a turn-based RPG set in a world that loops until the third day.
Battles consume time, and the character returns to level 1 when the cycle ends, while learned skills and collected equipment remain. Materials found across the world permanently raise character attributes. Recovery centers on biting enemies after applying the “dignity break” debuff, since other healing options are scarce. Teammates have distinct abilities, including magic immunity, increased targeting, and a chance to act twice; changing the party for each maze reduces resource use. The story follows the Paradise King, a Tulpamancer who gathers imaginary friends and investigates the world’s repeating cycle.
