Our take on Magicolors
Rather than keeping color matching on a flat grid, the game places crystal sequences inside three-dimensional scenes. Character placement, firing angles, and environmental interaction replace the usual direct tile-swapping structure.
What is Magicolors?
Magicolors is a puzzle board game in which a wizard gathers energy from colored crystals using a staff.
The goal is to direct a spell through three crystals of the same color in sequence. Collecting enough crystal energy unlocks additional spells, which are then used to solve later puzzles. Progress depends on positioning the wizard, choosing a firing angle, and interacting with elements of each three-dimensional voxel scene. The game uses a familiar three-color alignment concept but changes how matching works by placing it inside navigable environments. Tilt Five support adds scene placement beneath the board, closer spell symbols, and wand-based movement and spell direction.
How Magicolors plays
- 01Three-crystal spells
- A spell must pass through three crystals sharing a color in sequence to collect their energy.
- 02Unlockable magic
- Gathered crystal energy opens additional spells for use in later puzzles.
- 03Voxel environments
- Puzzles take place in three-dimensional, LEGO-like scenes that can be affected by acquired powers.
- 04Tilt Five support
- The augmented-reality version places the scene below the board and uses the wand for movement and spell aiming.
