Our take on Madrid Noir
Its short, film-like format keeps the mystery focused, but leaves limited room for extended exploration or sustained gameplay. Background details and clues offer reasons to revisit scenes, though the compact structure constrains the scope of that replay.
What is Madrid Noir?
Madrid Noir is a VR mystery adventure presented as a film with interactive elements.
The story follows Lola Petit, an aspiring detective and photographer, from a summer with Uncle Manolo in 1930 Madrid to the time when her uncle is declared dead. While sorting through his apartment, Lola delves into her memories to follow his shadowy trail and piece together the past through clues and puzzles. The experience is divided into two acts by an intermission and can be watched in one sitting or split into two sessions.
