Our take on Mad Devils: Damned-finitive Edition
Rather than keeping WWII combat grounded, the game turns a special forces squad into resurrected demons and moves its campaign into Hell. Its shooter combat pairs WWII-inspired weapons with elemental magic and demonic powers.
What is Mad Devils: Damned-finitive Edition?
Mad Devils: Damned-finitive Edition is a retro co-op arcade shooter set during World War II and in a demon-filled underworld.
A special forces squad is defeated, killed, and resurrected as demons before regrouping for another mission. Sergeant Jack Asher explores Hell to reunite eight playable demon soldiers, each with distinct weapons, abilities, and supernatural powers. Combat combines WWII-inspired firearms with elemental and ethereal magic, including fire, ice, light, and dark effects. Demonic crystals can strengthen weapons and develop powers, while experience is earned through combat. The campaign moves through burning wastelands, distorted mortal landscapes, overgrown areas, frozen regions, and fortifications occupied by undead enemies, demons, and infernal Nazi forces. Play supports a friend or an AI squad mate.
