Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a linear story structure may find the open-world format too unstructured

- Players who want a purely decorative building game may not want oxygen management, monsters, and item loss
Our take on Lunara: Planet IX
The broad colony-building design trades a tightly focused gameplay loop for resource work, farming, construction, combat, exploration, oxygen management, trading, and domestication. That range gives the game several interacting systems, but requires attention to settlement needs as well as adventure activities.
What is Lunara: Planet IX?
Lunara: Planet IX is a top-down 2D pixel-art simulation game about establishing a colony on a mysterious planet.
Construction covers homes, schools, power plants, hospitals, and interior or exterior decoration. Mining, woodcutting, crafting, and farming supply the colony, while monsters, mines, and the Ancestral Labyrinth provide combat and exploration. Character development includes Attack, Defense, and Luck attributes, along with another combat-related attribute. Changing climates, seasons, and a day-night cycle affect the setting. Oxygen is consumed over time; failing to recharge can remove random items and cause unconsciousness. Items can be traded in Lunarian Valley, and animals or ancestral robots can be domesticated for tasks and battles.
