Lumino City is a puzzle adventure in which Lumi investigates unusual places, solves mechanical challenges, and helps residents bring power back to their world. Locations include gardens in the sky, towers on a large waterwheel, and houses set into cliffs. The story continues after Lume, as Lumi begins a journey to find her grandfather and learn more about his life. The environment was created from a ten-foot model city made by hand and with a laser cutter. Its lights and motors were wired individually. Work on the game involved architects, fine artists, prop makers, and animators.
